Rumor had it that the lecturer had been murdered in his office.
On Sunday, Abdulkadir met an untimely end when his attackers broke into his workplace covertly and used a hammer and knife to attack him.
Zagazola Makama, a security analyst and counter-insurgency specialist in Lake Chad, revealed the incident on Monday via a post on his X account.
According to Makama, the victim’s killers left him with multiple injuries when he was discovered dead.
Along with his truck and other belongings, the killers fled with them.
Makama went on, “When he attempted to stop the attackers from stabbing him, his hands were peeled off.” In addition, they immediately killed him by smashing his brain and spinal cord with a hammer.
As of the time this news was filed, neither the Borno State Police Command nor the university administration had made any statements on the lecturer’s death.
